(Hague c. 1590 – c. 1650)

Moses was the Master of Anthonie Van der Croos, Dirk Dalens the Elder and other Dutch painters active during the so-called Golden Age.
Both in painting and in engraving, he treated subjects drawn from the Old Testament, from classical mythology and from the Metamorphoses of Ovid, often set in delicate and airy landscapes.
He also represented bacchanalia with music and dance and scenes of erotic taste.
